Transport Holdings is a leading logistics provider in the SADC region and provides domestic, cross border, and international logistics services to the Mining, Industrial, Retail and FMCG markets. We provide road transport services for full loads and consolidation services and supply a number of customers with on-site logistics management services using our own and/or customer’s assets throughout southern Africa. Transport Holdings manage logistics with owned assets as well as sub-contracted assets depending on the solution best suited to the customer. Transport Holdings operate on the inland corridors and in-country throughout southern Africa.

Transport Holdings as a company has been in existence for the past forty years. Its subsidiaries have been carrying out large scale transportation since the 1970’s. Familiar trade names under which the company has traded include Petrologistics and Express Cartage. Transport Holdings was formed in 2006 through the amalgamation of Imperial owned logistics businesses in Botswana. Imperial Logistics retained 40%, CEDA acquired 40% and PEO acquired 20%. Transport Holdings was an Imperial Logistics operating company from the 1970’s until 2018 and we are a professional large scale logistics business.

Today Transport Holdings is owned 80% by our Motswana Managing Director, Mr. Anthony J. Lee and 20% by BDC (Botswana Development Corporation) which makes Transport Holdings 100% Botswana owned and one of the success stories of Botswana’s citizen empowerment initiatives.

Transport Holdings owns 100% of Imperilog and ACS, Express Cartage, and Mulbridge Transport. In March 2017, Transport Holdings acquired all the customers of Truckafrica due to an Imperial initiative to amalgamate our businesses to provide a more diverse customer solution to the mining industries in SADC through Transport Holdings.
